Once you are sure you own a Brand Account, follow these steps to transfer your YouTube account.
Log into your account and then go to your YouTube Studio. Once there, click on “Settings” and then on the “Permissions” tab. And click on the sentence that reads “opt out of permissions” to manage them inside your Brand Account.
Check the boxes to acknowledge that everyone will lose their permissions until you manually give it back and that all managers will have access to search and watch history. Then select “Opt out”.

If you want to be the only owner, go back to “Manage Permissions” and change your role from “Owner” to “Primary owner”. Click on “Transfer” to confirm.
Quick note: In order for this last step to work you need to be an owner for at least 7 days. After the week has passed, you can try again and get full ownership.
